COMMUNITY KINDERGARTEN UNVEILS ITS NEW LOGO
COMMUNITY KINDERGARTEN UNVEILS ITS NEW LOGO
This year sees exciting changes for Tamborine Mountain Community Kindergarten (TMCK) with the launch of our new logo, inspired by local landscapes and the natural environment.
Designed by one of our talented kindergarten parents, Tal Boland, in collaboration with our executive committee and teaching team, TMCK hopes that the redesigned look will appeal to the local community and truly reflect our unique setting and kindergarten program - Inspiring creativity and embracing nature.
“The logo features the Richmond Birdwing Butterfly, which is native to the mountain, the beautiful views from Hang Glider Lookout, and the Finger Lime tree. In the Yugambeh language, Tamborine translates to "wild lime”.” Tal Boyland (Parent)
Last year, children planted several Birdwing Butterfly vines in the garden, kindly donated by Judith Roland, Tamborine Mountain Landcare President. Judith will be continuing visits to our kindergarten this year, excited to take on the role of ‘Gardener in Residence’.
