Wear a sunscreen - It’s the perfect time to remind you that SPF is the most important step in your skincare routine whether you are male or female – every single day – rain, hail or shine. Why? Because sun damage not only causes melanoma (the most common skin cancer) but it’s also the number one cause of premature ageing. It’s simple, if we don’t protect our skin then we’re putting ourselves at risk of skin cancers such as melanoma which is preventable. Skin cancer occurs when skin cells are damaged, and the most common cause is being overexposed to ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun. According to Cancer Council, skin cancers account for 80 per cent of all newly diagnosed cancers and the majority of skin cancers are caused by exposure.
