A: Retinol, retinyl palmitate and retinaldehyde are all forms of vitamin A that boost collagen, unclog pores and minimise discolouration and fine lines. Retinol is most popular but it can irritate skin, while retinaldehyde is most active and works on most skin.
B: Vitamin B includes a group of different but related vitamins, but you should focus on two: vitamin B3 (niacinamide) to protect skin’s immune cells, strengthen skin’s outer layers, help control pigmentation, and improve elasticity; and moisturising vitamin B5, which acts as an anti-inflammatory agent.
