Carers make an enormous contribution to our community as well as our economy and National Carers Week gives everyone a chance to show their appreciation.
This year we’re asking Carers to Tell Us Why You Care (on www.carerqld.com.au) so that we can highlight the realities of caring and help build a carer-friendly Australia.
We also ask all non-carers, businesses and organisations to Tell Us Why You Care about carers and show their support and raise awareness.
CREATIVE THERAPY WORKSHOP FOR CARERS
Do you provide care and support to family members or friends with a disability, mental illness, or chronic condition, or who are frail aged? Do you enjoy getting creative and connecting with people? We would like to invite you to join us for a creative therapy workshop as part of National Carers Week celebrations.
The creative process can be used as so much more than making art. It can be used to improve your physical, mental and emotional well-being. You don’t need to be an artist; you just need to be willing to get
