I can offer some free help and training advice for Tamborine Mountain residents. Below is what the current foster carer Morika is asking of people interested. I can understand her concern about unscrupulous people, like those involved in dog fighting and some security people.
“Kaiser is a beautiful three-year-old German Shepherd that needs a home where the owners will truly love and care for him the way that he has been loved in his current home. He needs his new home to have owners who are happy to have him live in the house as he hates to be alone. A female friend would be ideal.”
“His ideal new owners would be home with him a lot of the time for company and if they were not home, he would be best with a female dog companion. He feels the heat, so needs a home in the mountains where he will not suffer from heat pain. Tamborine Mountain, Springbrook or Beechmont would suit him just fine. He is a top guard dog and will keep your home safe and protect you if you give him the love he needs, and he needs a lot.
