SO MANY DOGS!
Yesterday afternoon I went for a bike ride with my daughter. It was magnificent. The Mountain is in full change to autumn in its march on to the cold of winter .

The colours are breathtaking and the light from the sun is just wonderful as it bounces over the autumn colours. The nip in the air made us lose our breath as we went down Curtis Road, but it is also invigorating and welcome after the heat of this previous summer. I feel so very blessed to live here, in the best place on Earth.

But, the thing that made me smile more than anything was to see so many of you out for your afternoon exercise. People with headphones and running faster than we can cycle, new mums pushing prams, families getting everyone together and heading out for a walk, couples holding hands and just strolling. And the dogs. Oh, so many people out walking dogs. Even now, writing about it, it brings a smile to my face.
