Oppurtunity and mortality
You know the worst thing about taking the time to nurture something, let’s say a plant for example, and you’ve put the time into it and seen it grow and mature into what you were hoping for …… the worst thing is when some low life comes along and steals it from your garden – that’s really a grubby act.

Then we have the garden gnomes, light bulb covers and Christmas decorations to name a few other items stolen in recent times. Here I find myself having to reflect and share with the community that these instances of petty thieving have been happening on the Mountain. It’s really an appalling act and I would question the morals of people who find themselves carrying out these activities. Opportunistic thieves – have a really good look at yourself.

With that in mind, the schools will be empty over the coming Christmas/New Year period and this can provide an opportunity for vandalism, stealing and damage to occur. These actions come at a cost to the community, so I’d implore everyone.
