Sunshine and lollipops
The rain came … it was nice to see some widespread falls across Tamborine Mountain and the downpour last week reminded me of being up north – copious amounts of water for 15 minutes followed by sunshine and the kids running around jumping in muddy puddles. How good is it?

The team has been busy with a variety of matters across the Mountain. We have had huge numbers of people over the past couple of weeks visiting and so the tourists have enjoyed themselves. Please remember to share some patience on the roads with them – there are dead set some awesome examples of “tourist tunnel vision” from motorists who forget the road rules exist, see what they want to do and go for it! We generally, as a community, do a great job on our roads and so a big shout out from the team for using safe driving practices.

Recent calls for service by the team have revolved around domestic and family violence. It’s a time of year when we see some pressures and I’d implore people to go and seek some interventi
