Column: Travelling Places - NEW ZELAND

Once a fisherman’s hut on the shores of the Waikato and located between Rotorua and Taupo, this location has been transformed into a small luxury retreat catering for a lucky few. The Queen and Prince Philip fell in love with the lodge in the 1980s and returned. Prince Charles has stayed in recent years.
