LIONS LUNCH HELPS THANK VOLUNTEERS

Almost one month after the Christmas devastation on the Mountain, a group of exhausted but still positive and energised volunteers gathered at the Long Road Sports Complex for a ‘thank you’ lunch catered by the Tamborine Mountain Lions Club. While the community effort has largely been remarkable, some aspects of the official response to the disaster have raised serious concerns.
