PRINCESS CRUISES
PRINCESS CRUISES
Princess Cruises has long been a favourite for Australian travellers; with several ships based in Australian waters over many years, Princess have really tailored the locally-based vessels to suit us. Step on board and you will feel at home while sailing in Australian waters, to New Zealand, around the Pacific or up to PNG. On board, you will find the currency is Australian dollars, that your tipping is included, that many of the crew are Australian and that you can even have Vegemite on toast for breakfast. This is a unique benefit for the locally-based ships – Princess Australian-based ships also offer a winter escape each year on their World Cruise, which has new ports of call each year, and is a delight to all who take the time to explore the world. Other longer journeys include many Pacific Islands across the dateline and the Equator to Hawaii return. Or perhaps you would prefer a long sojourn to Asia.
Apart from their Australian-based ships, the Princess fleet has vessels worldwide offering short and longer explorations. With the launch of new ships, the fabulous new Sun Princess will be based in Europe for her inaugural 2024 season. Join her on this wonderful 21-night cruise around the Mediterranean, calling into Greek islands, historical Turkey, sail the Adriatic, travel around the boot of Italy, and wander along the French and Spanish coastlines. This wonderful cruise can be combined with flights for a three-week holiday, or perhaps combine this with visiting family and friends in Europe or venturing further afield with a driving holiday or a touring trip to really immerse yourselves in Europe.
Princess owns a considerable amount of travel infrastructure around the world. As owners of the Alaskan Railway and the lodges in Denali National Park, Princess offers amazing trips cruising the inside passage up the coast from Vancouver or Seattle to Alaska and then a multi-day trip to explore Alaska. This escorted journey in the Pacific Northwest is fascinating – spot whales breaching and glaciers calving, explore historical gold rush towns, visit huskie farms or meet the locals. Catch a train through pristine wilderness and stay in lodges inside Denali National Park. Sail from Vancouver on a seven-night inside passage cruise, and then spend 10 nights exploring fascinating Alaska.
It is no wonder Princess cruises are so popular – the value is excellent. There are several restaurants on board for you to enjoy meals, and with our current promotion, beverages and Wi-Fi are also included. Specialty restaurants can be added to your trip, as well as a full range of shore excursions which can be booked prior to your sailing to ensure you get to experience the adventures you have always dreamed about.
Do join us for a free seminar to find out more about Princess Cruises and how you can head off to explore the world. Thursday 24th August 5.30pm at Travelling Places.
