TMCCA 30TH AGM HELD ON 16TH SEPTEMBER 2022
TMCCA 30TH AGM HELD ON 16TH SEPTEMBER 2022
Tamborine Mountain Community Care held their 30th AGM on Friday 16th September 2022. 30 years of operation within the community of Tamborine Mountain is a significant milestone for the organisation. Because of the foresight of a few individuals all those years ago, recognising the need to provide assistance to the ageing population so that they can remain living in their homes rather than prematurely enter residential aged care facilities, the organisation was incorporated in September of 1992 and has grown from strength to strength through continuous improvement of what we do and how we do it.
Funded by the Commonwealth government to provide in-home aged care services, we are extremely proud to be able to help our clients to remain living at home, to provide them with a confidence that help is available when they need it.

We rely on a knowledgeable Management Committee, all of whom are volunteers, to oversee the running of the incorporated association. Holding a position on the committee has significant responsibilities, and the inputs from each individual are appreciated.

Thanks to committee members that have stood down this year, Didi Simons, Neil Smith, Ian MacAllan, Jackie Sherrard-Smith and John Clem, who has been the TMCCA secretary for a period of eight years.

All nominees for the 2022/2023 election were appointed at the AGM. Returning officers, Nigel Waistell—President, Effie Anderson—Vice President, Greg Ingold– Treasurer and Gail Molson, Elizabeth Davis and Keith Attwood, Newly appointed for the first time this year are Bev Kirk– Secretary, Marion Baxter and Lyndal Drennan.
