This weekend sees me at the lovely Sofitel Fiji, arriving early this morning on the red eye flight from Brisbane. I wouldn’t suggest this flight to anyone, and goodness knows why I booked it for myself – we left Brisbane at midnight for a 3½ hour flight to arrive in Fiji at 5.30am local time. Just an awful sleepless night! Anyway, I have arrived, the sun is shining and the conference starts this afternoon. Rest assured, there are many other flights during the week at more civilised hours.
