The Scenic News (Tamborine Mountain News) has been published continuously since 1958, and is arguably the best read local paper across Tamborine Mountain and surrounding areas.
We print 7100 copies every week. These are distributed to some 4,000 homes on Tamborine Mountain, and to homes in Canungra, Tamborine, Clagiraba, Wongawallan and Boyland.
Bulk drops to businesses in all areas (as far as Beaudesert) ensure high visibility and recognition.
Tamborine Mountain is host to more than 1.5 million visitors annually, and many of them pick up copies from local retailers, cafés and restaurants, or from the Visitors Information Centre.
Our ‘tall A4’ format – printed on premium satin-gloss paper is 10 per cent larger than other A4 publications, giving an advantage to our advertisers with more impactful ads at no additional comparative cost. High quality paper and generous photo coverage of local issues and events throughout the paper ensure strong reader awareness and loyalty.
Our website – scenicnews.com.au – hosts an online viewable and downloadable PDF version of the paper, with all issues from April 2016 to the current one available in full.
The business directory is available as a separate, convenient download – ensuring that our advertisers have wider exposure than just through the physical edition of the paper.
We are currently implementing complementary business directory listings on the website – essentially a one-page website for your business on our site.
Though initially focussed on Tamborine Mountain, Scenic News has expanded its editorial coverage to include items of interest across the wider Scenic Rim region.
The population of Tamborine Mountain is highly mobile, with many residents travelling regularly to shop and dine in the surrounding regions of Upper Coomera, Oxenford,Nerang and Beaudesert. Trade and service providers from these locations are also increasing the amount of business they are doing with Mountain residents.
